After a dominant 2019 regular season, the Ravens were one and done in the playoffs, how does Baltimore respond in 2020?
No team was as good as the Ravens were in the 2019 regular season. They finished with a 14-2 record and won 9 of those games by 10+ points. They were led by their dominant running game with 2 1000+ yard rushers in Lamar Jackson (1,206) and Mark Ingram (1,018).
All of this success led to a disappointing loss in the divisional round against the Tennessee Titans. It was shocking to see a team this dominant look so inferior in a home playoff game. But that just goes to show the unpredictability of the NFL, any given Sunday.
On to 2020, the Ravens have to deal with a huge loss on the offensive line with future hall of Famer Marshall Yanda retiring in the offseason. On the other side they bring in two veteran players in Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe to beef up the defensive line.
Lamar Jackson will be back fresh of his MVP season and looks to electrify Baltimore once again. He has proved in just 24 starts that he is nearly impossible to contain on the ground. He also made great strides as a passer completing 66.1% of his passes and leading the league in passing touchdowns (36).
With eyes on a trip to Tampa in February, let’s take a deeper look at the Ravens 2019 season, 2020 offseason, and what lies ahead in 2020.

Burning Question: How will the offensive line respond to the loss of Marshall Yanda?
Bottom Line: The Ravens are in the first tier of elite teams in the AFC. The battle between them and the Chiefs Week 3 on Monday Night Football is must see TV. They will be a surefire playoff team with Lamar running the offense and a talented defense. There is a nice infusion of a young core with veterans who know what it takes to win in January.
Handling the pressure of the playoffs will be the key for this Baltimore team. One and done will simply not do it, especially with Lamar still on his rookie deal. The time to strike is now for John Harbaugh and company.
Predicted Win Range: 11-13
