Burning Question: Will Kyler Murray make a big leap in 2020?
Bottom Line: Many people are high on the Cardinals in 2020. I love the DeAndre Hopkins trade, as I believe he will make an immediate impact on that offense. Chandler Jones is a premier linebacker in this league that doesn’t get the appreciation he deserves. Isaiah Simmons was one of my favorite players in this past year’s draft.
However, this team does not scream playoffs at me. I think they will struggle in the trenches especially in a division that features Aaron Donald and Nick Bosa. Kyler Murray was very solid for a rookie, but I did not see the electric production that he put out at Oklahoma.
The Cardinals’ secondary gave up the 2nd most passing yards in the NFL in 2019. But they did not do much to fix that secondary so they are ready to throw out the same players.
Being in the NFC West is the toughest task for them, as all 4 teams in this division are good enough to win it in my opinion. I just believe the Cardinals will get the short end of the stick for 2020.
Predicted Win Range: 6-8
